CaptainG is the founder of Flathead Lake Sailing School. I have been an ASA sailing Instructor and USCG Captain teaching on Flathead Lake, Virgin Islands, Bahamas and Belize for 10 + years. My students appreciate my adaptable style and couples coaching. We always have fun and smile while learning. Sometimes I bring Daisy, the labradoodle, along for the ride.

I have been sailing Flathead Lake and Puget Sound for the last 10+ years! I love to sail, and I love to teach others about what I enjoy! I became an ASA Instructor to be able to do this better and more often. I enjoy seeing the students gain confidence and taking control of the boat. I always strive to make learning fun and fit your style! I look forward to helping you achieve your dream of learning to sail!

Captain Ken O'Connor
I am excited to share my passion for sailing with you. I have been sailing in the Flathead for several years now and had the opportunity to sail in the open seas on many occasions. I love to watch my students advance in technical knowledge then apply it to real word applications. Safety is my priority, but lets not forget to have fun.
May the wind be at your face and the sun upon your back

Captain Bill Leake
My experience ranges from the warm waters in the Virgin Islands to the Florida Keys & Catalina Island and places in between. I am Navy veteran of the nuclear submarine USS Skate (SSN-578). It's great to see people take the helm confidently and have fun learning. They have the knowledge and skills to sail themselves, friends and family and return safely.
